The introduction of K-Superskirt® Engineered Polyurethane over 10 years ago, created first an awareness, and then experience of the benefits of engineered polyurethane. Kinder Australia’s highly durable K-Superskirt® lasts 8 to 10 times longer than traditional rubber skirting products, but has also been independently laboratory tested using abrasion testing equipment to last at least 4 times longer than other similar polyurethane skirting products.
K-Superskirt® is designed to seal conveyor transfer points in many environments from wet clay to iron ore. K-Superskirt®’s high tensile strength ensures it contains material loads effectively whilst reducing dust leakage – prevents spillage problems.
Its low friction nonporous properties will not collect fines that can cause damage to the conveyor belt. It also creates less drag on motor horsepower.
Overall belt maintenance is reduced with less changeouts required to install replacement skirting. Both ongoing cost and labour savings are achieved as a result of installing K-Superskirt®.
