Charles Pratt, Chief Executive Officer

Charles joined Kinder Australia in 2004, commencing his journey as an engineer with a background in mechanical engineering and business management. His appointment has been a pivotal moment in Kinder’s history, propelling the company forward and infusing it with fresh ideas.

Charles brings a wealth of experience and innovative thinking to his CEO role after serving as the Operations Manager and remaining as a company shareholder.

Known for his energy and drive, Charles Pratt’s leadership has been nothing short of transformative. His hands-on experience and profound understanding of heavy process industries make him a remarkable problem solver, not only for Kinder but also for the company’s valued customers.

Jenny Qin, Chief Financial Officer

Jenny brings a wealth of experience across FMCG, fintech, telecommunications, and financial services, with additional expertise spanning civil infrastructure, wealth management, and ASX-listed organisations. She is a results-driven finance executive with a strong track record of delivering growth and long-term value.

A CPA-qualified professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Jenny specialises in financial strategy, risk management, and capital optimisation. She has led complex initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and business transformation.

Known for her strong leadership, efficiency, and sound decision-making, Jenny is passionate about building high-performing teams and contributing to dynamic, growth-focused organisations.

Tim Storer, National Sales Manager

With over seven years at Kinder Australia, Tim brings energy, creativity, and strong technical expertise to his role as National Sales Manager and Field Applications Specialist.

Known for his engaging communication style, Tim excels at connecting with customers and industry partners through tradeshows, demonstrations, and training sessions, delivering clear and practical insights.

He is passionate about fostering meaningful relationships and encouraging open, two-way communication to support customer success and industry progress.

Sam Veal, Marketing Manager

Sam joined Kinder Australia in 2023 as Marketing Manager, bringing valuable industry insight from his experience working for a relevant industry B2B magazine.

With a talent for active listening, multitasking, and relationship-building, Sam plays a key role in shaping customer-focused strategies alongside the field applications team.

His commitment to meaningful connections sees him actively involved in industry events, workshops, and tradeshows ensuring Kinder stays engaged with customers, distributors, and suppliers while uncovering new opportunities.

Bart Fox, Business Development Manager

Bart Fox joined Kinder Australia in 2023 as a Field Applications Engineer, bringing with him a wealth of hands-on expertise and broad industry knowledge gained from working on top-tier mine sites.

A qualified Mechanical Engineer, Bart has played a key role in supporting major operations and engineering companies, through technical consulting and sales of conveyor and bulk materials handling equipment.

His promotion to Business Development Manager recognises his strong customer focus, deep understanding of operational needs, and commitment to delivering value.

In this global role, Bart is responsible for engaging with current and prospective clients, supporting local distributors, and driving business growth through innovative solutions from design to procurement.

Peng Wei, Project Engineer

Since joining Kinder Australia in 2008, Peng has brought over 15 years of experience and technical expertise to his role as Project Engineer.

He plays a key role in every stage of large-scale project delivery, from tendering and design checks to system management and special delivery requirements, ensuring precision, organisation, and effective outcomes.

Peng’s strong communication skills enable him to understand customer needs, explore possibilities, and coordinate seamlessly with both clients and internal teams.

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Peng also supports Kinder’s international customers and partners, making him a trusted and knowledgeable point of contact for complex project implementations.

Bradley Owen, Engineering Manager

Bradley joined Kinder in 2017 and now leads the Engineering team as Engineering Manager, where his thoughtful, detail-oriented approach ensures both innovation and quality in every product.

A strong advocate for collaboration, he listens closely to his team and customers alike to deliver solutions that meet evolving market needs, including custom designs tailored to specific site applications.

Bradley also oversees the full manufacturing process, implementing strict inspection plans and ensuring each product is supported by clear, comprehensive documentation. His passion for continuous improvement helps keep Kinder at the forefront of the industry.

Ian Hall, IT Manager

Joining Kinder in 2011, Ian Hall has been instrumental in shaping the company’s IT landscape as our IT Manager.  With deep expertise across business process optimisation, infrastructure management, and technology implementation, Ian ensures our systems run reliably and efficiently.

His skill set spans SAP (Boyum add-in), SQL, Crystal Reports, and Microsoft cloud services, along with comprehensive support for on-premises networks and remote access. Ian also manages Kinder’s ISO certifications, reinforcing his commitment to maintaining high standards across the business. His practical, solutions-focused approach keeps our operations connected, secure, and continually improving.

Melissa Coutet, Human Resources Manager

Melissa came on board at Kinder in 2024, bringing with her over 15 years of HR expertise and a strong track record across the Construction, Healthcare, and Travel sectors.

As Human Resources Manager, she applies a strategic lens to everything from talent acquisition to organisational development, helping drive engagement and business growth.

Holding a Master’s in Human Resources Management from RMIT and AHRI certification, Melissa stays ahead of evolving workforce trends through ongoing professional development. Her passion for inclusive, high-performing workplaces ensures Kinder’s people strategy is both forward-thinking and aligned with long-term business goals.

Tri Ly, Warehouse Manager

Tri Ly started at Kinder Australia in 2020 and has brought a strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement to his role as Warehouse Manager.

With a focus on maximising productivity and operational efficiency, Tri leads by example advocating for OH&S improvements and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards across the warehouse and wider premises.

His dedication to upskilling and fostering a culture of learning has created a cohesive, capable, and safety-conscious team that reflects Kinder’s high operational standards and values.
