There are many reasons why and when conveyor belts moves off centre, this can lead to costly belt damage, spillage and potential OHS hazards.

The Emergency Stop ? of conveyors is also critical to the safety and protection of workers from the OHS hazards of working in and around conveyor systems.

Introducing….

Our newest range of robust Safety and Electrical Conveyor Technology solutions put SAFETY 1st.
The switches are suitable for extreme temperature ranges, can provide effective monitoring and control of conveyors critical to minimising downtime and delivering positive flow on affect on productivity and profitability.

Emergency Pull-Wire Switch ZS 92 S / KST

These emergency pull-wire switches guarantee, amongst other things, a reliable emergency-stop function and wire-break monitoring on larger machines.

New mechanics facilitate a wire length of up to 2 x 100 m and achieve significantly reduced release forces and paths when actuating the emergency stop function. This makes the safety switch easier to operate and reliably meets all the relevant international standards.

Key Features:

  • Temperature resistant from -40 °C … +85 °C (KST: +70° C)
  • High degree of protection IP 66 / IP 67 / IP 69.
  • Wire length up to 2 x 100 m.
  • Corrosion-resistant aluminium die-cast enclosure or thermoset enclosure for application with aggressive bulk goods and environmental conditions.

Belt Alignment Switch ZS 92 SR / KST

These switches are highly effective at monitoring the alignment of conveyor belts. A large stainless steel roller lever registers when the belt is running off centre between the conveying rolls, for example because it is unevenly loaded, and then – depending on its communication with the control unit – either corrects the alignment or stops the conveyor system.

Key Features:

  • Temperature resistant from -40 °C … +85 °C.
  • High degree of protection IP 66 / IP 67.
  • Available in corrosion-resistant aluminium die-cast or thermoset enclosure for application with aggressive bulk goods and environmental conditions.
