The Iron Ore Conference 2023 taking place in Perth, Western Australia has kicked off this week with Energy transition a key focus of the 2023 Conference Program.
Kinder Australia is excited to have Bradley Owen, Mechanical Engineer present Cameron Portelli’s technical article “Analysing Impact Forces & Overcoming Speed, Heat and Pressure Issues in High Capacity Belt Support Applications”.
Bradley has accumulated over 5 years’ experience in the Bulk Material Handling and specialises in design of belt conveyor components including transfer point and skirting systems.
Developing innovative solutions that benefit the Iron Ore and Bulk Material Handling industries are some of Bradley’s core responsibilities at Kinder.
“Engaging in research that further the understanding of the key issues to drive design decisions has been a key interest”, says Owen.
“Kinder Australia has developed a unique and innovative range of belt support technologies that further promote dynamic travel whilst maintaining a consistent skirt board area without a significant increase in belt-friction tension”, says Portelli.
Brad who will also be available during the course of the Iron Ore Expo to further discuss the technical article as well as to answer all of your challenging iron ore questions.
