Since 1953 the Institute of Quarrying Australia’s (IQA) vision has been focussed on “Educating and Connecting our Extractive Industry”.
Today more than ever, “Continuing professional development is important in the extractive industry as it supports improvements in workplace safety, environmental management, community outcomes and business performance” (Source: IQA website)
Kinder Australia is very proud of our long-term association with the IQA who “continues to develop and deliver educational platforms, through a consolidated single source, which are industry specific and designed to assist in meeting duty of care and competency requirements for statutory positions. As a member-based organisation, the IQA is working to lift the standard within the industry across many areas including: safety, environment and people development”.

- Quarrying Safety & Health Conference (Brisbane), 14 June 2019 – Anthony Ockers, Field Applications Specialist will be demonstrating and providing an overview of conveyor safety challenges & solutions within quarry applications.
- IQA National Conference (Geelong), 1-3 October 2019 – A demonstration of Kinder’s conveyor componentry range by Peter Laskey, Field Applications Specialist.
