From humble beginnings over 30 years ago, Kinder Australia has seen many changes impacting the bulk materials handling industry.
These days our perspective of safety and legislation has changed dramatically from not only looking after our employees and making sure they get home safely, to the legal requirements put upon us all to manage dust, noise and traffic as residential areas move closer to the boundaries.
Kinder is proud to partner with IQA and together understand the value of training and upskilling workers to adapt and thrive in this evolving industry.
The Box Hill Institute of TAFE facilitates extraction industry-focussed learning modules for the IQA, with Kinder Australia collaborating with course content relating to the management of conveyors and bulk material handling equipment, operational theory and best practice.
The Awards Presentation Night was recently held at Kew Golf Club and is a culmination of the student’s hard work and dedication. Kinder Australia is proud to support the achievements of this year’s students graduating from Certificate 3 and 4 in Surface Extraction Operations, Diplomas in Surface Extraction Operations Management and Advanced Diploma of Extractive Industries Management. Representing Kinder Australia, Christine Kinder, Marketing Manager was on hand to present commemorative gifts in recognition of the students’ academic achievements.
From all of us at Kinder wishing you all the best in your future endeavours in the quarry and extractive industries.
Kinder Australia offers complimentary Conveyor Safety and Maintenance training program and many contacts in the extractive industry have found this practical demonstration style session very worthwhile.
