On Sunday 2 November, the Cape Pallarenda Trail Run was hosted by adventure fitness group Outer Limits. Outer Limits is based in Townsville and is in the business of helping ordinary people achieve extraordinary things. Their motto is “Our Bravest and best lessons are not learned through success, but through misadventure.”
Kinder & Co has supported Outer Limits for the past year by assisting with the online race results. Our business aims are actually quite similar in that we care about achieving results and meeting performance targets.
The full course for the Cape Pallarenda Trail Run takes in the Mount Marlow summit, Smeddleys Ridge, the graveyard track and the single track “Under the Radar course. During the challenging run, there are some sweeping views over Cleveland Bay and to Magnetic Island, followed by a run through the low lying wetlands as well as past historical WWII gun emplacement sites.
Congratulations Sam Stedman (pictured centre) and his team of event organisers and volunteers from Outer Limits for their final trail run in the 2014 series.
