Idler Maintenance Identification
The maintenance of conveyor hardware, including conveyor rollers and frames, is critical to the safe and productive operation of bulk handling conveyor systems. Damaged rollers and frames are one of the primary reasons leading to conveyor belt mistracking, which in turn leads to costly conveyor structural damage, belt failure and material spillage.
The K-Maintenance Idler Tag is designed for the efficient identification and reporting of conveyor items that require attention.
During routine conveyor health checks, important information about failing or seized rollers often gets lost or miscommunicated between inspection teams and maintenance planners. This can lead to delayed repairs, increased downtime and safety risks.
The weatherproof tag is sequentially numbered in two parts to identify and match the location. The top part is attached to the idler frame to identify the problem and the bottom part is torn off for the maintenance recording and required future action.
