This week, Kinder Australia made a significant stride toward fostering a more inclusive and dynamic work environment by hosting a comprehensive training course aimed at empowering women in the workplace.

Attended by enthusiastic female staff members from various departments – including HR, Accounts, Marketing, Logistics, and Sales, the course provided valuable insights and practical strategies for professional growth and development.

The Empowering Women in the Workplace training course from Swinburne University is a one-day initiative designed to remove barriers to women’s professional advancement.  For those who attended it was a valuable platform for reflection, sharing insights, and mutual inspiration, fostering both personal and professional growth.

Topics covered ranged from emotional intelligence, power dynamics to effective communication.  Joanne Marriott, expert facilitator led the engaging sessions, encouraging participants to collaborate, share their insights and experiences.

By the end of the course, it’s envisioned participants will walk away with more confidence, clarity in defining their career goals and strategies to achieve them, along with improved communication skills.  The course also provided participants methods for enhancing networking abilities to build strategic connections and identifying potential mentors.

Kinder Australia remains committed to empowering women in the workplace, as well as creating a more supportive and inclusive work environment for all its staff members.
