Outer Limits Adventure Fitness is in the business of helping ordinary people achieve extraordinary things. Based in Townsville, this outdoor multisport and endurance event training group impressed Neil Kinder with its culture of being goal driven, and its commitment to planning and preparation through to delivery – qualities that are shared by Kinder & Co’s values in its approach to building relationships with its customers and setting realistic performance expectations.
So when an opportunity presented itself to support Outer Limits, Kinder & Co was only too keen to team up as a sponsor of its trail running series.
This arrangement has been up and “running” for 12 months now, in conjunction with Kinder & Co’s major distribution partner local to the Bowen Basin and Townsville region, Britrac – Conveyor and Mechanical Engineering.
This weekend Outer Limits hosted the Paluma Dam Good Trail Run, offering adventurous participants either 14km or 25km courses through the wet tropics area with creek crossings, slippery tree roots, a few leeches and maybe the odd snake or two as part of the overall experience.
The final event on the trail running calendar for 2014 is the Cape Pallarenda Trail Run on Sunday 2 November. With 5km, 12km, 21km and 42km distances to choose from, this run is traditionally very well attended, with Neil and Christine Kinder both successfully completing this event last year.
